Thanks for the Memories!

Things have changed for us this year. Since we now own the Spot Pizza in Marsing, our time has become limited. Therefore, we have focused our attention to the restaurant and will not be doing the produce farm, corn maze or pumpkin patch. As the economy improves, maybe the farm will be back in our plans. For now, thank you to those who came to the farm.

Do come to the Spot for some incredible pizza. Many are telling us it's the best in the valley. You can check our our Facebook page (search: Spot Pizza Marsing).

Thanks again,
Susan

End of the Season!

As of November 1st, 2009 we are currently closed for the season. Thank you so much to all of the people who came out to support our family farm. We had a blast this year! The festival had a huge turn out, even though it was incredibly windy. The night maze was a huge hit for those who came out. Some of the comments we heard were, "This was so much fun. The whole family could come because it wasn't too scary for the little ones." We had one little boy say, "I'm all corned out!" Of course he had a huge smile on his face. Parents were happy that they brought their kids out here instead of some of the other mazes because they knew that the kids would be scared enough in the dark and that they only had to pay $8 instead of $15 +. Thanks again for coming out. And for those of you who didn't make it out this year, hope to see you next year!

Well, as the farm season ends, the pizza season continues. The Spot Pizza, located at 12 Sandbar Ave in Marsing, is open Mon-Thurs 11-8, Fri-Sat 11-9 and Sun Noon-8. Come check us out or see us again. We have pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salad bar, and homemade soups. If you have any questions or want to book a party call 896-5055.

Who knows what next farm season will bring, but we hope to see you then. Thank you!

Come on out! We'd love to see you!

***CORN MAZES OPENS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th***
***NIGHT TIME MAZE OPENS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2nd***

We have 3 fun corn mazes this year that span over 23 acres!
Easy, medium and difficult!

Maze 1 (easy): WOW Country 104.3
The popular country radio station WOW country 104.3 sponsored us this year! So we cut our first maze to look like their logo. Inside the maze you will come across Mother Goose characters and the nursery rhymes to go with them. Find all the WOW logos in the maze and enter to win tickets to a Johnny Cash Tribute, an all ages event! It is directed towards younger children and those who would like a shorter maze experience.

Maze 2 (medium): The State of Idaho
Each year, one of our mazes is in the shape of Idaho. Our purpose is to use Idaho history to teach the fourth grade classes. This year your journey will wind through the waterways of Idaho. Before entering you will receive a passport to take with you. The passport is an interactive activity where you will find highlighted letters on location signs in the maze and they will correspond to the passport. The passport asks a specific question about Idaho and the letters you locate will answer the question.

Maze 3 (hard): The Labyrinth
This maze has a Halloween theme. Although it is not haunted, there are ghosts, goblins and ghouls around each corner. From witches to mummies there are many things to watch out for. This maze is our most difficult and longest maze of the three. This is definitely the maze for night time wanderers. BE SURE TO BRING A FLASHLIGHT!

Ages 12+: $8.00
Ages 4-11: $5.00
Under 4: Free!

Hay Rides - take a tractor drawn hay ride around the farm and see the maze, the pumpkin patch, the animals, and more! Hayrides are available during daylight only.

Ages 12+: $5.00
Ages 4-11: $3.00
Under 4: Free!

We Welcome School Field Trips and Groups!
Teachers, bring your students out to the farm to learn the waterways of Idaho. Kids get an Idaho Passport to complete while going through the maze, a treat, a mini pumpkin, and an invitation to bring their families back to the farm. Cost is $5.00 per student, teachers and accompanying adults (1 per 4 kids) are free.

For groups and organization of 25 or more, $8.00 per adult and $4.00 per kid under 12 years. This includes corn maze and hayride. For just the corn maze, $6.00 per adult and $3.00 per kid under 12 years. For just the hayride, $3.00 per adult and $2.00 per kid under 12. For groups larger than 15 people, we take $1.00 off per event, per person.
